The Advantages of Liquid Resveratrol

Liquid resveratrol is a phytochemical found in the skin of red grapes and in red wine. Some resveratrol is preserved in an organic alcohol solution, while other forms are not. To take liquid resveratrol, measure out ½ tsp. and mix it with ¼ to1/2 cup of purified water. Sip the concoction slowly over the course of several minutes. Slow sipping is important; it maximizes the uptake of resveratrol directly into the blood. Liquid resveratrol has all the major effects of resveratrol in a capsule and is safe to drink and take daily.

    • Resveratrol is reported to promote more efficient intracellular repair, create healthier blood vessels and protect brain tissue. It affects a cell's nucleus by providing antioxidant protection, while also promoting cellular longevity. Additionally, it activates enzymes that prolong the cell's life, giving the cell more time to repair its DNA and live longer before its P-53 self-destruct gene sets in.

    Cardiovascular Effects

    • Resveratrol is thought to protect against heart disease and chronic illnesses. During cardiovascular disease, years of free radical damage results in hardened and thickened arteries. Cellular havoc from free radicals and nanobacteria restrict arterial blood flow, causing arterial damage. Resveratrol also dilates blood vessels to improve blood flow and increases nitric oxide production, which is a vital part of healthy blood flow and heart health.

    Anti-Cancer Effect

    • Some evidence suggests resveratrol has the ability to fight off and inhibit cancers of many body parts, including the colon, esophagus, breast, prostate, skin, liver, lung, stomach, mouth, cervix, ovary, pancreas and thyroid; it also may fight or inhibit neuroblastoma and various types of leukemia and lymphoma. Resveratrol does this, studies suggest, by blocking estrogen and androgen uptake (whether the cancer cells are estrogen receptor positive or negative). It can modulate gene expression and can cause cancer cell death by deacetylation. It also helps block the ability of the cancer to metastasize.
