Weigh yourself on a scale.

Divide the number of pounds you weigh by two. This is the minimum number of ounces of water you should drink a day.

Measure out the ounces in a measuring cup, and then transfer them to a container you can keep in the refrigerator.

Drink out of the container throughout the day until there is no more water left.

Keep a humidifier in your home. This will help moisten the air that you breathe in.
