How to Treat Food Parasites
Food is a common way that humans are inflicted with parasites. Parasites are organisms that live in a human host, robbing the person of nutrients and causing illness in many cases. These parasites can be so small they're invisible to the human eye or they may be visible as small worms. Humans get parasites from eating fruits and vegetables that aren't washed, eating meat that's not fully cooked or drinking water that contains the organisms.Things You'll Need

Call your doctor and report you think you have parasites. Your doctor might ask you to bring in a stool sample and make an appointment to test for parasites and prescribe a treatment plan.

2
Fast for four to six days and then do a colon cleanse. If the parasites are living in your colon, this can rid your body of the organisms. You can find colon cleansing kits at drugstores and alternative health stores.

Eat foods with a high fiber content and drink lots of water. These two combined can help flush the parasites from your body. Foods that are high in fiber include many types of fruits and vegetables and whole wheat breads and pastas. Parasites will grow if you eat fat and sugar, so avoid foods with high fat or sugar content.
