What substance do lymph nodes produce that assist in immunity diseases?

Lymph nodes produce a type of white blood cell called a lymphocyte, which helps to fight infection and disease. Lymphocytes are produced in the bone marrow and then travel to the lymph nodes, where they mature and are activated. When the body is exposed to a foreign antigen, such as a virus or bacteria, the lymphocytes in the lymph nodes will recognize the antigen and begin to produce antibodies against it. These antibodies will then bind to the antigen and help to destroy it.
