Take echinacea tablets. This herb contains phenol echinacoside, which acts by increasing your immune cells. Take one echinacea tablet a week to maintain good immunity. If you are catching a cold or flu, take two tablets until your symptoms go away. Do not take more than what the dosage instructions recommend.

Eat plenty of garlic. This plant is composed of the compound allicin which effectively stimulates your immune system. It is also a natural antibiotic. Garlic is best taken without food. Grind three or four cloves of garlic in a blender making sure you don't puree it. Slowly blend it until you see small clumps. Add it to a glass of water and drink straight up. Do this three times a week to help maximize your immune system.
