1
Wash your hands.
-
2
Mix ½ teaspoon of salt and 1 cup lukewarm water. Stir until all the salt is dispersed.
-
3
Pinch the rubber tip of the medicine dropper. Put the other end into the mixed solution. Gently release the rubber tip so that the dropper fills with water. If the water did not fill the dropper, try again. Make sure the rubber tip is pinched tightly before you fill the dropper.

4
Stand over a sink. Open your mouth; insert the medicine dropper into one nostril, at about ¼ inch deep. Release the mixed solution into your nose by pinching on the rubber tip of the dropper. Opening the mouth will close the nose's passageway to the throat.
-
5
Blow the water out of the nose with force into facial tissue so that all of the water is removed. Do the same for the other side of the nose. The solution will clear the sinuses, providing immediate relief.
