Remedy for Tuberculosis
-
Indian Gooseberry
-
Indian gooseberry is rich with vitamin C, which boosts the immune system to prevent and treat diseases in the body. The active properties of Indian gooseberry include calcium, iron and vitamin C.
To consume, mix one tablespoon of either fresh or dried Indian gooseberry with one tablespoon of pure honey or agave nectar. Add the ingredients to eight ounces of water and stir for one minute.
For a non-sweetened remedy, add one teaspoon of salt with one tablespoon of Indian gooseberry. Mix these ingredients with eight ounces of water and stir.
Pineapple Juice
-
Pineapple juice is rich in nutrients, much like orange juice, and is ideal for treating chest colds, influenza as well as tuberculosis. The acidity of pineapple juice works to break away built-in mucus within the throat and lungs. An excessive amount of mucus can harbor harmful bacteria and germs and can also make breathing difficult.
Mix one cup of fresh pineapple juice with half a teaspoon of ground pepper and a pinch of salt. For flavor, add one tablespoon of pure honey and stir for one minute. Drink this solution once per day, either in the morning or at night. It can also be used to dissolve bothersome mucus throughout the day.
Mint and Carrot Juice
-
The properties within mint and carrot juice work to eliminate mucus as well as to purge the body of harmful toxins that accumulate through synthetic medications. The active ingredients in both juices work to clean the linings of the lungs to prevent further bacteria growth, which can slow the healing process. Both mint and carrot juice contain vitamins and nutrients that boost the immune system as well as promote overall well-being.
Combine one cup of fresh mint juice, which can be purchased at a health-food store, with one cup of carrot juice. Mix in two tablespoons of honey and one teaspoon of apple-cider vinegar. Stir the ingredients for one minute or until all of the ingredients have been efficiently mixed together. Drink up to three times per day for three weeks or until main tuberculosis symptoms have subsided.
