How to Use Diamox
Diamox is part of a group of drugs called sulfonamides. These drugs are used to treat conditions wherein high amounts of fluids build up and cause pressure in the body. The excess fluid is excreted from the body in urine. Diamox is used to treat glaucoma and altitude sickness, and for some patients, congestive heart failure. The drug works by lowering the fluids and pressure in the body, which is the main cause of vision loss in glaucoma patients. This article gives you an idea of what to expect if your doctor prescribes Diamox.Instructions
