Age when vaccinated for smallpox?

Smallpox vaccines are no longer administered since the disease has been eradicated. However, historically, smallpox vaccinations were typically administered during infancy or early childhood, usually recommended between 12 to 18 months of age. In some cases, it could also be given up to puberty if an individual had not yet received the vaccine earlier.
