Your most fertile time is usually a few days before you ovulate. Ovulation usually occurs about 14 days before the start of your next period. So if you have a 28-day cycle, you're most fertile around days 10 to 14 of your cycle. To be more precise, you can use an ovulation predictor kit to figure out when you're ovulating. These kits test your urine for luteinizing hormone (LH), which surges just before ovulation.
