Why during your menstruation stomach is acing?

1. Uterine contractions: During menstruation, the uterus undergoes contractions to shed its lining. These contractions can cause pain in the lower abdomen, back, and thighs. The pain is often described as cramping or throbbing.

2. Prostaglandins: Prostaglandins are hormone-like substances that are produced by the uterus during menstruation. Prostaglandins cause the uterus to contract and can also contribute to pain.

3. Inflammation: The menstrual process can also cause inflammation in the uterus and surrounding tissues. This inflammation can contribute to pain.

4. Endometriosis: Endometriosis is a condition in which endometrial tissue grows outside the uterus. Endometriosis can cause pain during menstruation, as well as during ovulation and intercourse.

5. Other medical conditions: In some cases, abdominal pain during menstruation may be caused by other medical conditions, such as pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), uterine fibroids, or ovarian cysts.
