Foods low in potassium include apples, grapes, pears, watermelon, cranberries, cherries, cucumbers, beans, onions, lettuce, carrots, pasta, cereals and breads.
Protein

Choose fresh or plain frozen meats, such as poultry and seafood. Eggs, beans, grains and unsalted vegetables are also options.
Sodium

Season foods with a variety of spices to avoid salt. Eat homemade soups with no salt and purchase unsalted snack foods only.
