What blood vessels return from the kidneys to heart?

The renal veins return from the kidneys and help transport filtered waste into the heart. In the kidneys, the renal veins receive freshly oxygenated blood from branching renal arteries. This fresh blood is then filtered and returned to the vena cava from the renal veins.
