How to Detox the Liver Using Blue Green Algae

Spirulina is a blue-green algae that is commonly used for liver detoxification. It contains amino acids, minerals, rhamnose sugars and enzymes. Alternative health practitioners claim that it can protect the liver from damage and help improve the health of people suffering from cirrhosis and chronic hepatitis.

      Begin each day with 200 to 500 g of unripe (green) papaya, with the skin on. Blend the papaya in the blender with other fresh tropical fruits. Add one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. Drink the mix and wait 20 minutes, then take 10 g of spirulina.

      Eat alkalizing foods, such as vegetables and fruits, for lunch. Include a serving (about the size of the palm of your hand) of lean protein such as chicken, veal or fish. Add cayenne pepper, apple cider vinegar and olive oil to the food. This can be mixed together as a dressing and poured on your salad. Sprinkle spirulina on your foods.

      Drink at least 1/4 of your body's weight in ounces of distilled water daily. For example, if you are 120 pounds, drink 30 oz.of water. Add 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar for every 30 oz. of distilled water.

      Eat fresh fruit, greens and an additional serving of lean protein. You can also top your foods with spirulina. Weight 20 minutes after the meal and take 5 g of spirulina.
