Over the Counter Genital Wart Removal

According to the National Institutes of Health, genital warts are a common sexually transmitted disease caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). Genital warts may appear as white or flesh-colored bumps or growths found around or near the vagina, cervix, anus and penis. They vary in size, amount and height. According to the Mayo Clinic website, people with genital warts usually have no symptoms. However, some people experience itching, bleeding during intercourse and burning during urination.

While most health websites suggest that you visit a doctor if you suspect you have genital warts, some people have had success with over-the-counter remedies.
