Hulda Clark Gallstone Remedy

Dr. Hulda Clark was a naturopathic medical practitioner who advocated the use of liver flushes or cleanses to remove gallstones and help you heal your body naturally. Clark said that after flushing out your gallstones, your allergies may disappear, and your shoulder, upper arm and upper back pain may go away. You also might see an increase in energy and your general sense of well-being. These statements have not been proven by the medical community, however, and many doctors believe it is not possible to flush out gallstones.
  1. Clark's Theory

    • The objective of Clark's liver and gallbladder cleanse is to clear your bile ducts from parasites and gallstones. According to Clark, your liver tubes are clogged with small gallstones that x-rays may not detect. She also said that at the core of the gallstone is a cluster of bacteria. She said porous gallstones can attract cysts, parasites and viruses.

    Gallstone Flush

    • To make Clark's gallstone remedy, begin with 4 tbsp. of Epsom salts. Add 1/2 cup of olive oil that you have left uncovered to absorb oxygen for 20 minutes. Add 2/3 cup grapefruit juice squeezed fresh from small, pink grapefruits. Add 10 to 20 drops of black walnut tincture in any strength. The black walnut is said to kill parasites coming from the liver. Mix the cleanse in a pint jar and consume with a large straw. When taking the cleanse, do not take any medications, pills or vitamins. Have a non-fat breakfast and lunch to allow bile to build up and produce pressure in your liver. The higher the pressure, the more gallstones will be flushed out.

Ideally, you should take the cleanse around 10 p.m. Lie down immediately after the treatment in order for it to be most effective. Ideally, you should remain perfectly still for at least 20 minutes when you lie down. If you have trouble sleeping, Clark recommends taking ornithine supplements. Do not get out of bed again until morning, and try to sleep for at least eight hours while the cleanse is working. If you fail to do this, Clark suggests you may be unsuccessful at removing gallstones.

    Using the Cleanse

    • Take the cleanse on a Saturday night so you can have ample rest the next day. Expect to have diarrhea the morning after. Check for gallstones in your bowel movement. Clark said the green ones are clear indications of gallstones. The gallstones should float to the surface because of their cholesterol content. Count the number of gallstones you find, no matter what their color. You should count about 2,000 gallstones before your liver is cleansed enough to help your body eliminate allergies and body pains, according to Clark. You may retake the liver cleanse at two-week intervals. Do not use the cleanse while sick from an illness.

Your bile ducts sometimes may be filled with cholesterol crystals that did not develop into actual round stones. They will only appear as a chaff that floats on top of your toilet. They may be tan in color, hiding thousands and thousands of minuscule white crystals. Eliminating this chaff is just as crucial as eliminating the gallstones, according to Clark.
