Tylenol Arthritis is an over-the-counter medication for controlling minor arthritis pain and other pains. It can provide pain relief for up to 8 hours. It is available for adults and children.-

The active ingredient in Tylenol Arthritis is acetaminophen. Both the caplet and geltab contain 650 mg acetaminophen each.
Side Effects

There are no reported side effects of acetaminophen when taken at therapeutic doses.
Interactions

Tylenol Arthritis should not be taken by chronic alcohol abusers. Chronic overuse of alcohol is damaging to the liver, which processes acetaminophen.
Contraindications

Pregnant and nursing women should ask their physician before taking Tylenol Arthritis. Patients who are taking other products containing acetaminophen should not also take Tylenol Arthritis.
Warnings

Tylenol Arthritis is processed through the liver. People with liver problems should contact their physician before taking this product. Using more Tylenol Arthritis than instructed on the label can result in liver damage as well. Some patients over age 65 may have trouble swallowing the geltabs or caplets.
