  Thoroughly wash the enema bag with antibacterial soap and hot water.

  Soak the bag, bucket, nozzle and tubing in hot, soapy water for 10 to 15 minutes.

  Remove the equipment and rinse it well with hot tap water.

  Pour 10 to 15 ounces chlorinated water into the enema bag and allow it to soak for approximately five minutes.
