How to Make an Enlarged Uterus Go Down
Uterine fibroids, also called an enlarged uterus, is a very common condition affecting women of all ages. It is characterized by benign growths that are most often asymptomatic; because of this, your physician will likely recommend that no course of action be taken. Occasionally, uterine fibroids may cause discomfort or increased menstruation. If this is the case, and you would like to reduce the size of your enlarged uterus, several steps can be taken.Instructions

1
Take gonadotropin-releasing hormone (Gn-RH) agonists. These drugs cause your ovaries to produce less estrogen and progesterone, shrinking uterine fibroids.
-
2
Take androgens. Often labeled as Danazol, this kind of drug mimics the effect of testosterone and can reduce the size of uterine fibroids. Be aware, however, that this class of drugs may cause depression, acne, and weight gain.

3
Undergo a myomectomy. This procedure involves the surgical removal of uterine fibroids. This operation is minimally invasive and may result in the recurrence of the benign growths. Since uterine fibroids are so often asymptomatic, try the above non-surgical therapies before undergoing surgery.
