How to Get Rid of Terrible Sinus Pressure
Sinus pressure can be painful and uncomfortable. Over-the-counter medications may not do the trick or provide quick relief. However, nasal sinus irrigation is a great option to relieve pressure, and you probably already have the necessary ingredients in your kitchen.Things You'll Need
- Tea pot or bulb syringe
- 1/2 tsp.of non-iodized salt
- 8 oz. filtered or distilled room temperature water
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Using a clean container, mix the above ingredients until dissolved. Stand over the bathroom or kitchen sink. Fill either the teapot or bulb syringe with the solution

When using a bulb syringe, position yourself above the sink and place the tip of the syringe up one nostril and squirt the solution up into the nasal cavities. The solution will go up and through the sinus cavities and come out the other nostril. Mucus may come out as well. Let it drain out into the sink. Repeat for the other nostril.

When using a teapot, tilt your head to the side, over the sink and pour the solution into one nostril so that the solution goes up into the sinus and comes out the other nostril and let drain into sink. Repeat for the other nostril.
