The Best Cure for Hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoids are swollen tissues and varicose veins that occur inside and outside of the anal area. Hemorrhoids cause pain, itching, and bleeding and often happen due to straining. Straining puts pressure on the veins in the rectum, causing them to swell and protrude outside the anal opening. There are treatments that one can do at home to treat and cure hemorrhoids.
  1. Sitz Bath

    • Soaking in a sitz bath is a great way to help treat and cure hemorrhoids. Soak in a tub of plain, very warm bath water for ten to fifteen minutes, as often as possible, making sure the hemorrhoids are exposed. This will help to shrink the hemorrhoids and relieve pain.

    Creams and Wipes

    • Hemorrhoid creams and wipes are products that are often bought over-the-counter to cure hemorrhoids. Use a hemorrhoid wipe to clean the anal area after a bowel movement. Once clean, apply a hemorrhoid cream to the inflamed area. The hemorrhoid wipes and cream begin shrinking the hemorrhoids and help relieve pain and itching. After three days, hemorrhoids have shrunk and the itching, pain, and burning are gone.

    Ice Packs

    • For severe hemorrhoids ice is a great way to help cure inflammation and pain. Apply an ice pack to the anal area on the site of the hemorrhoids, off and on for ten to fifteen minutes. For external relief and cure of hemorrhoids, freeze water in ice pop molds and apply the tip of the ice pop just inside the rectum off and on for 3 to 4 seconds, for ten minutes.
