How to Use Polident

Soaking your dentures in Polident is a way to thoroughly clean your dentures. Cleaning your dentures with a toothbrush and abrasive toothpaste can scratch your dentures and create crevices for bacteria to grow. There are four types of Polident: Overnight, 3-Minute, Partials and Smokers. Polident helps remove stains from dentures and keep them smelling and tasting fresh.

  Get a cup that is large is enough to fit your dentures and fill it with warm water. Put your dentures in the warm water. You should always soak your dentures in water overnight to keep them moist and prevent them from drying out.

  Drop one Polident tablet into the water and allow it to work according to the box instructions. The 3 Minute Polident can clean in as little as three minutes, and the Smokers Polident cleans in a minimum of 15 minutes. You can soak your dentures in any Polident overnight and your dentures will not be harmed.

  Remove your dentures from the water and rinse them with running water. You are recommended to use Polident once per day to keep your dentures clean.
