How to Prevent Sweaty Feet
Sweaty feet, or hyperhidrosis, is an embarrassing condition that can cause the soles of the feet and the area around the toes to perspire at an abnormally high rate. The soles of the feet have hyperactive sweat glands, which can cause an increased odor. This condition can lead to more serious fungal or bacterial infections from prolonged moisture in the feet. Decreasing the smell and sweat that come from feet takes only a few easy steps.Things You'll Need

1
Wear socks that are ventilated. Some socks are made from synthetic materials that do not allow air to flow in and out. Open sandals during hot, humid months also are better than closed sneakers or shoes. The airy conditions give feet a chance to dry out and eliminate prolonged moisture.

2
Scrub feet with antibacterial soap. Bacteria are everywhere, and the prolonged moisture on feet breed fungal and bacterial infections. When showering, scrub feet with antibacterial soap to keep them healthy.
-
3
Change socks often. Socks accumulate the sweat from feet and don't dry properly when you are wearing shoes. Changing socks prevents the moisture from accumulating and eliminates odors.
-
4
Rotate shoes. Shoes such as sneakers fit snuggly and allow little air to dry sweaty feet. Rotate shoes often to avoid the prolonged exposure to moisture.
