Getting taller can be as easy as stretching. Simply stand with your feet about shoulder width apart and reach your arms over your head, reaching as high as possible. Hold this position for 10 to 15 seconds. Repeat five times. You will be able to feel the pull in your lower spine as you breath in and exhale.

Another simple way to get taller by stretching is touching your toes. To do this, stand with your feet about shoulder width apart, reach your arms as far as you can over your head, then bend over and touch your toes. You may need to bend your knees slightly. Hold this position for 10 to 15 seconds. Breathe in as your arms are reaching for the ceiling and exhale as you bring your hands to your toes. Repeat this exercise five times.

Adding simple yoga stretches to your daily stretching routine is easy and increases your flexibility over time. The classic cobra pose can be done even by yoga novices. Simply lie on the floor face down. Rest your legs gently together. Place your hands with palms facing the floor under each shoulder. Slowly push up with your hands and lift your chest and shoulders off the floor, making sure to keep elbows tucked in close to your sides. Breathe in gently as you push up. Exhale and lower your torso slowly back onto the floor. Hold each cobra pose for 10 to 15 seconds. Repeat five times. This is a great exercise for stretching the spine and getting taller.

The corpse pose in yoga is the ultimate in relaxation. Lie on your back on a yoga mat or blanket on the floor in a relaxed state with your feet about 18 inches apart and bent slightly outward. Elongate your spine by gently stretching your legs downward as your stretch your arms above your head in the opposite direction. Then place your hands, palms facing up, about six inches from the sides of your hips and breathe in and out deeply for about 10 minutes. This is a great yoga pose to relax with as well as for stretching your spine.

The mountain pose in yoga is very similar to a simple stretching motion. Stand with your feet together and raise both arms to your sides, then bring them together over your head while inhaling deeply. Join your hands over your head, keeping your legs and back relaxed. Hold for several seconds, then release and exhale as you bring your arms back down to your sides. Combining several of these yoga poses along with simple stretching exercises will elongate your spine, improve your posture, and make you taller.
