Angina Equivalent Symptoms

Angina is a condition where the heart does not get a sufficient amount of oxygen. The symptoms that appear as a result of this are similar to those of coronary artery disease. But there is a difference with angina equivalent symptoms. That difference is that there is no chest pain present.
  1. Pain

    • Even though pain is not felt in the chest, it can still be felt in other places. The jaw and arm are two of them.

    Breath

    • With angina equivalent, dyspnea can be seen. This is when there is a shortness of breath and breathing is labored.

    Stomach

    • The stomach can show a few symptoms as well. Indigestion, heartburn and nausea can occur.

    Sweating

    • Profuse sweating can also result from angina equivalent. The actual medical term for this is diaphoresis.

    Vomiting

    • In the event that someone is diabetic, a symptom that she can possible see is vomiting profusely.
