1
Blend fruit, vanilla yogurt, milk and a little bit of ice to make fruit and yogurt smoothies. These homemade smoothies contain a lot of fiber and protein for a wholesome breakfast or snack.
-
2
Puree soups that contain meat, noodles and vegetables. Use caution if placing hot soup into a blender. You can add liquid to the mixture if you prefer drinking it, or keep it at a creamier consistency to eat with a spoon.
-
3
Add extra butter to your pancakes and waffles. Drench them in syrup to make them soft enough to swallow without chewing. Be sure to take small bites and swallow carefully.
-
4
Dice chicken breast or other meats into tiny pieces. You should be able to mash the small pieces in your mouth before swallowing. You can also dice hard-boiled eggs in the same way.
-
5
Mash bananas up with a fork. Microwave fresh apples with a tiny bit of brown sugar and butter before mashing them with a fork. Strawberries and raspberries are other fruits that you can mash up to eat without chewing.
-
6
Treat yourself to a milkshake, pudding or ice cream. If you've just had dental work done, the cold temperature can be soothing as well.
