How to Make Saline Solution for a Nebulizer
A nebulizer is an apparatus used by cystic fibrosis sufferers. Cystic fibrosis is a congenital disease that causes mucous buildup in the lungs. A nebulizer fits into your mouth and delivers a fine mist of medicine to your lungs. You may need to dilute the medication with saline solution in some cases. A saline solution is salty water that is similar to the body's own fluid composition.
