How to Treat Internal Piles
Piles are another word for hemorrhoids, which are inflammations of the tissue surrounding the internal passage of the anus. The anal cavity has many blood-rich vessels lining it and it is easy for them to become swollen when pressure is applied from the abdomen. Common causes for piles or hemorrhoids are pregnancy, constipation and obesity. Treating them can be done safely and inexpensively at home.Things You'll Need

1
Eat foods rich in fiber and roughage, such as green salads, bran and whole-wheat bread. If you feel you cannot get enough fiber from food use a fiber supplement.
-
2
Drink six to eight cups of water and fruit juice every day. If you get constipated frequently add prune juice to your diet, starting with six ounces daily.
-
3
Move your bowels when you feel the need to do so. Holding back when you feel the urge depletes water from the bowels and can lead to constipation, which can lead to hemorrhoids.
-
4
Ask your doctor not to give you medication that may cause constipation, such as painkillers containing codeine.
-
5
Use over-the-counter hemorrhoid creams and ointments topically. They will soothe the area and reduce the swelling, making it easier for you to move your bowels.
