How to Stop Foot Perspiration
Many people have a problem with sweaty feet and they tolerate it throughout their lives. This is actually a medical condition called Plantar Hyperhydrosis, the medical term for uncontrollable sweating of the feet [see reference]. The condition can range from mild to a more severe end of the spectrum, leading to fungal infections, difficulty wearing certain shoes and embarrassing odor. Treatment varies for mild cases to the more severe cases where fungus has began to eat away at the flesh and surgical interventions are the only resort. Before you spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars for electrotherapy {see reference}, there is a relatively inexpensive treatment that you can perform in the privacy of your own home.Instructions

1
Clean your feet with betadine iodine, preferably during each shower. Be sure to clean thoroughly between the toes where fungus and bacteria flourish.
-
2
Dry your feet with a blow dryer on a comfortable setting. Your feet must be totally dry before you apply any moisture sealing agents.
-
3
Apply a thin layer of terbinafine (athlete's foot cream) to the feet and between the toes at night, before bed. Wear socks. This should rid your feet of bad smelling bacteria and fungal infection. Refer to the directions on the package for length of treatment.

Wash away the terbinafine and apply a clinical strength antiperspirant before wearing shoes.
