How to Hide a Large Oxygen Tank
Oxygen tanks are a life-saving device for people with certain medical conditions. They may also be used for industrial purposes or aviation, but they're most publicly visible as a medical accessory. People who have or rely on such tanks may want to disguise or hide them for various reasons, whether due to self-consciousness or aesthetic concerns. It can be difficult to completely hide a large oxygen tank, but there are things you can do to minimize its visibility.Instructions

1
Talk to your doctor about changing to a small oxygen tank. This will make it easier to hide, or at the very least, less visible.
-
2
Store the oxygen tank in a pouch, bag or satchel. Such containers are commercially available, or you could fashion your own out of an item you already have, like a backpack. There are also wheelchair accessories designed to hold such tanks, which may be of use if you use a wheelchair.

3
Cover the oxygen tank in cloth. You can hide it by draping decorative linen over top. Secure the cloth with string or size and cut it to fit the tank.
-
4
Put the tank in the closet, or some other out-of-sight place, if you don't need to have it with you at all times. Make sure, however, it's within ready reach should you need it suddenly.
