Does narcolepsy generally take most of your energy?
While narcolepsy can indeed cause excessive daytime sleepiness, it does not generally take away all of a person's energy. One of the primary challenges of narcolepsy is the tendency to fall asleep at inappropriate times or experience an overwhelming urge to sleep. This persistent sleepiness can significantly interfere with daily activities and reduce the ability to stay awake during the day, leading to feelings of fatigue.
