How Do I Study for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program?
Immediate neonatal resuscitation is a lifesaving treatment. Expert assessment and knowledgeable resuscitation skills can influence the outcome of a newborn in distress. Medical personnel must study and pass a certification test to administer the basic skills for neonatal resuscitation. The American Heart Association has developed guidelines and training programs to educate those medical personnel involved in newborn resuscitation and life support.Things You'll Need
