What is Status Migraines?
Status migraine is a medical condition in which a person has a severe headache that lasts for more than 72 hours. It is most commonly seen in people who have a history of migraines, but it can also be experienced by people who have not previously experienced migraines. It is one of the most distressing forms of migraine and can last for several days. Symptoms include severe, often debilitating headache, nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light, noise, and smells.
