How to Wrap a Groin Injury
A groin injury is one of the most painful experiences for some people. Without proper care the injury can become much more serious and even more painful. This relatively simple injury occurs when pressure is placed on the muscle, causing discomfort and interrupting their regular routine. That makes it important to wrap the groin injury properly.Things You'll Need
- Elastic bandage
- Zinc oxide tape

1
Place the end of the elastic bandage on the inside of one thigh. Wrap the bandage around the thigh going in the outer direction until it completely encompasses the thigh.
-
2
Pull on the bandage to tighten it slightly. Then move the bandage up around the back at waist level. Wrap the rest of the bandage around the front of the stomach, on an angle so it meets back up with the thigh.
-
3
Wrap the bandage around the thigh again and return to the stomach and back. Essentially you're making a figure-eight pattern by wrapping the bandage around the thigh and then around the stomach and back. Continue following this same pattern until you meet the end of the bandage.

4
Open the roll of zinc oxide tape and place the tape on the side of the thigh, right around where you started the bandage. Roll the tape around the thigh, making sure to stay on top of the thigh.
-
5
Repeat the motion you used with the bandage by running the tape from the thigh to the back, then to the stomach and back down to the thigh. Wrap the tape around these areas until you reach the end of the roll.
