The muscles that flex the forearm are the biceps brachii and the brachioradialis. The biceps brachii is located on the front of the upper arm and the brachioradialis is located on the front of the forearm.

The muscles that extend the forearm are the triceps brachii and the anconeus. The triceps brachii is located on the back of the upper arm and the anconeus is located on the back of the forearm.
