How to Strap a Hamstring
The best way to treat an overstretched or fatigued hamstring is to allow your leg to rest, ice the area to reduce inflammation, apply compression, and elevate the hamstring. This guide will show you how to use an Ace bandage to properly apply pressure and compression to your hamstring. - Ace bandage
- Ice pack

Rest your leg and apply ice to the back of your thigh for 15 minutes.

Hold one end of an Ace bandage about three inches above your knee.

Wrap the bandage around once, overlapping the starting position to hold it in place.

Continue to roll the bandage snuggly up your thigh. Overlap each previous wrap by half.

End the Ace bandage strap just before the groin, using the included clips to tightly hold the strap in place.

Elevate your injured leg. Remove the strap before showering. Reapply if the strap becomes too loose.
