In a study by Italian scientists published in the January 2009 issue of the journal "Homeopathy," homeopathic remedies were shown to work comparably to conventional neuropathic treatments. The study reported, "a number of significant improvements in [neuropathy] symptoms . . . were found in the homeopathy group, possibly associated with a decrease in conventional drug consumption."
Specific Remedies

Use aconite for shooting pains, tingles, numbness, burning sensations and swelling in your hands or feet. Belladonna may be beneficial for sudden pain and possible redness along the hips, back and thighs. If the soles of your feet tingle and burn, use cantharsis. Treat burning and pain in the shoulder and swollen hands with ferrum phosphoricum.
For muscle spasm and cramping, try magnesium phosphate. Lastly, use hypericum to relieve neuralgia and pain in the toes, fingers, and limbs.
