Causes

There is no known cause for dyspraxia. According to the Dyspraxia Foundation, research indicates that it may be a result of immature development of neurone.
Symptoms

Symptoms of dyspraxia typically present themselves differently in all individual. However, when symptoms occur they may consist of clumsiness, vision problems, short-term memory problems, behavioral problems and poor social skills.
Diagnosis

Diagnosis of dyspraxia is typically determined by symptoms present during a physical examination. And in some cases, aptitude test scores may help diagnose dyspraxia. Additionally, neurological testing may be conducted in order to confirm diagnosis.
Prognosis

While there is no cure for dyspraxia, occupational therapy may be used in order to assist the patient in developing better motor skills.
Is it hereditary

There is no scientific proof that dyspraxia is hereditary. However, in families where one member has been diagnosed with dyspraxia, they can usually account for another family member who has also been diagnosed with dyspraxia, according to the Dyspraxia Foundation.
