What to do if person does not come out from seizure?

If a person does not come out of a seizure, it's important to stay calm and follow these steps:

1. Check for responsiveness. Gently shake and shout to the person, "Are you okay?" If they don't respond, consider them unresponsive.

2. Call for help. If you're alone, call 911 or your local emergency number. If someone else is with you, ask them to call for help.

3. Turn the person on their side. This helps to prevent them from choking on their tongue or fluids.

- Loosen any tight or restrictive clothing around their neck and chest.

4. Do NOT put anything in their mouth. This can cause choking or damage to the teeth.

5. Cushion their head. Use a pillow, jacket, or blanket to support their head and neck.

6. Stay with the person until help arrives. Monitor their breathing and watch for any changes in condition.

7. If the seizure lasts more than 5 minutes or if another seizure starts immediately after the first one, call 911 again. These could be signs of status epilepticus, a potentially life-threatening condition.
