The Cerebral Palsy International Sports & Recreation Association (CPISRA) is the international leader on sports issues for people with cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders. It promotes sports for people with cerebral palsy and is the only organization of its kind.-

CPISRA seeks to enhance the opportunities for people with cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders to play sports. They want these individuals to have access to the sports of their interest. While CPISRA works primarily for those with cerebral palsy or another related neurological condition, there are opportunities for people with other specific conditions to participate.
History

CPISRA began in 1978 in Edinburgh, Scotland. In 1983, only 22 nations belonged to CPISRA. However, by 2008, 60 countries belonged to the organization.
Robin Hood Games

The Robin Hood Games are the World Games organized by CPISRA. They began in 1989 and take place in Nottingham, England. They are the year after the Paralympic Summer Games.
