Benztropine is used for treating extrapyramidal symptoms, including involuntary muscle movements, restlessness, and difficulty initiating movement, that may occur as a side effect of taking antipsychotic medications (see reference 1).
Side Effects
-
Side effects of benztropine include tachycardia, dry mouth, gastrointestinal disturbances, blurred vision, dilated pupils, urinary retention, and fever (see reference 1).
