How to Use Fish Oil for Nerve Pain
Excessive pressure around the nerve causes nerve pain, which results in a dull to throbbing pain that travels up the nerve and worsens due to inflammation. While fish oil cannot get rid of nerve pain entirely, it does reduce and prevent inflammation of the tissue that can exacerbate the pain, according to the American Institute of Physics. Salmon, tuna, mackerel and halibut contain fish oil, as well as fish oil supplements that provide omega-3 fatty acids.Things You'll Need
