Light Relief is a device that is used to provide relief within joints and other parts of the body. Light Relief emits infrared heat, which is used to maintain or elevate tissue temperature. Using Light Relief can seem confusing, but it can be done. It is recommended that individuals use Light Relief if their physician prescribes a heat regimen for their pain. You can relieve the pain in your joints and muscles with Light Relief.

      Turn the Light Relief unit on by pressing "Start" on the right side of the blue button, which is located on the top. Continue by pressing the left side of the button to turn the heat on. The right side of the button also gives you the ability to turn the heat to a low, medium or high setting.

      Insert one of your hands under the strap that is attached to the unit. The strap will allow you to hold the unit without slipping. Continue by placing the unit over the area that needs to be treated. You can place the unit on the area for 10-20 minutes or as prescribed by your physician.

      Detach the Light Pad from the Light Relief unit to use the device without holding it. The complete Light Relief package includes a long strap that you can use to secure the Light Pad to your body. Pull the light pad off gently to remove it from the unit. Make sure that excessive pressure is not applied to the body when placing the Light Pad.
