How do I Identify a Motrin Pill?

Unidentified pills seem to show up at times, and when they do it can be curious and disturbing. You may think or you may have been told that it is Motrin, but would like to be sure. Whether it showed up in your medicine cabinet, or your teenager's bedroom, chances are, you would like to know what it is.

  Visit a pill identification website, such as RxList.com. Many other websites exist that can also identify a pill based on a simple description. Click on the "Pill Identifier" tab.

  Enter the information about the pill such as any markings, numbers or letters, color and shape. Search results will include a picture of the pill you have and details regarding its treatment purpose, side effects and narcotic class. You can also look it up in reverse by entering the name or the generic of the pill in question.

  Visit your local pharmacy and ask a pharmacist to help you with pill identification if you are unable to obtain the information you need from a Pill Identifier website.
