Read the patient leaflet provided by the pharmacy completely before using the ointment. Understand the side effects of the medication, such as dizziness or blurred vision.

Wash your hands.

Place the applicator on a flat surface. The printed side should be facing downward.

Squeeze the prescribed amount from the tube onto your applicator.

Put the applicator, with the ointment, on your skin with the medicated side down.

Spread the applicator to create a thin layer of the medicine to the afflicted area.

Cover the affected area with plastic wrap. Tape the wrap in place.
