How to Use Anti-Pain Bracelets
Magnetic bracelets -- also known as anti-pain bracelets -- are used as a CAM (complementary and alternative medical) approach to pain that originates from arthritis, rheumatoid or osteoarthritis. The pain relief this type of bracelet provides stems from its magnets, which cause a magnetic field that interacts with your body; targeting both the pain and inflammation in areas such as your wrist, hand, elbow, shoulder and arm. According to a study performed by the Peninsula Medical School, incorporating the use of magnetic bracelets into your lifestyle can aid the pain; however, they should only be used as a complimentary treatment.Instructions

1
Place the anti-pain bracelet around the affected wrist. Insert your wrist through the bracelet's opening if you have an open-ended bracelet, or unhook the bracelet's clasp and hook it back on to secure it around your wrist.

2
Position the magnets on your bracelet beneath your wrist. If you have an open-ended bracelet, the opening goes on the lower region of your wrist. For other type of bracelets, positions the bracelet's clasp beneath your wrist.

Use your bracelet during the day. At night you can keep it on or take it off. You can position your bracelet on specific areas for short periods of time to treat the pain. You don't have to keep the magnets on any given area continuously to receive comfort.
