How to Use Zewa TENS 502s
Tens of millions of Americans suffer from chronic pain that can range from mild to incapacitating. As well as affecting emotional and physical well-being, constant pain can interfere with normal daily activities. Although drug treatments are often available, many people prefer noninvasive therapy. Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, otherwise known as TENS, uses low-voltage electrical current to provide pain relief. Electrodes are placed on the skin near the area of pain, and the charge is delivered by a small battery pack. The aim is to stimulate the nerves and block the pain messages that are sent to the brain. For many people, a course of TENS therapy can help them reduce the level of pain they suffer and regain some control over their lives.Things You'll Need

Set the treatment intensity by sliding open the front cover to reveal the control buttons. Turn the left-hand dial to the level recommended by your health care professional. If no level has been given, the basic setting is between 60 and 100.
-
3
Set the pulse rate by turning the right hand dial, again, to the level recommended by your health care professional. If no information has been given, the basic setting is between 60 and 130.
