Can you explain more clearly how primolut-N can be used to prepone periods?
Primolut-N (norethisterone) is a synthetic progestin—a hormone that is similar to the body’s natural progesterone. It is used to treat a variety of conditions, including irregular periods, heavy bleeding, and premenstrual syndrome (PMS).
It works by altering hormone levels in the body. It stabilizes the lining of the uterus to reduce bleeding and regulate the menstrual cycle.
To prepone periods, Primolut-N can be taken in an altered schedule starting after the 15th day of the menstrual cycle. The tablet should be continued for five to ten days. As a response, the menses will usually initiate two to three days after the final dose.
Important note: Preponing periods using hormonal medications like Primolut-N should only be done under the guidance and prescription of a healthcare professional, as it can affect one's hormonal balance.
