How do you get a sociopath prosecuted?

Sociopathy is not a legal term, and therefore sociopaths cannot be prosecuted for being sociopaths. Sociopathy is a personality disorder characterized by a lack of empathy and remorse, and while it can lead to criminal behavior, it is not a crime in and of itself. People with sociopathy can only be prosecuted for specific criminal acts they commit, such as theft, assault, or murder. In order to prosecute someone for a crime, there must be evidence that they committed the crime, such as witness testimony, physical evidence, or a confession.
