Salmonella is a intestinal condition that is caused by bacteria. Humans may get sick from Salmonella after consuming contaminated food or water. Salmonella infections are characterized by fever, chills, nausea, headache, muscle aches, stomach cramps, vomiting and diarrhea. Symptoms may last up to seven days.-
